Jardin de Marike

Always unexpected and hidden between town and marsh, its magic works once you cross the barrier. Wide flower meadows and wild flowerbeds have been designed to encompass different trees and shrubs. Winding paths force you to walk around them, revealing perennials in ground cover beneath ancient plantings of varied local species.

The flowers are arranged in palettes of colour, all year round.

Designed to be a natural way of gardening "differently", insects, small animals and useful birds, both sedentary and passing through, return to the area around a pond and to work in the apiary and orchard. A paradise to discover!

This private garden is open to the public every Saturday afternoon from March to October, and the owners offer special guided tours at the beginning of June during the "Rendezvous in the Garden" event, as well as during the Heritage Days in September.
