La Grange Nature

Situated in the heart of the Marais Audomarois, La Grange Nature is a unique venue dedicated to the natural treasures of the Pas-de-Calais department. This centre offers visitors the chance to explore the landscapes, flora and fauna of the region’s natural areas through exhibitions, activities and talks held throughout the year, as well as a fun, interactive museum area for the whole family. Special opening hours on Easter Monday, 8 May, Ascension Thursday and Whit Monday.

The Étangs du Romelaëre National Nature Reserve, which covers more than 100 hectares, is home to ponds situated on the site of former peat bogs – mainly exploited in the 19th century – and wet meadows that are home to a diverse and abundant range of wildlife. Walking trails dotted with observation points have been created for the general public, including a route of around 2 km suitable for people with reduced mobility. Visitors can admire 250 species of plants, 200 species of birds and 17 species of fish… It’s a real treat for nature lovers! Free entry and accessible to people with reduced mobility.
