GUIDED BOAT TOURS | Les Fontinettes and the world of the river

On the Neufossé Canal, starting from the Fontinettes boat lift in Arques, set off to discover the history of river navigation and life on the canals.

During this tour, you’ll also have the chance to pass through the large-capacity lock that has replaced the boat lift: the Fontinettes Lock. With a height difference of over 13 metres, it’s a unique experience!

It’s a great way to discover the world of riverboat crews and the boat lift from a different perspective. This new tour takes place aboard our covered catamaran, LE MARC.

The guide will be with you on board throughout the tour.

Please arrive 20 minutes before the start of the event to facilitate boarding. The duration of the tour depends on river traffic conditions. It may therefore vary between 1 hour 15 minutes and 1 hour 45 minutes, as our boat does not have priority.
